FAQ

Apart from containing a free ticket to Game Access as Press, the Pass will also allow you to record audio and video using professional equipment. Regular attendees are permitted to take selfies etc. using their phones, but are not allowed to engage in long-term recording.

Lastly, Press Pass holders will be able to use the conference app to book meetings in the Press Corner. This is a dedicated zone in the venue itself, which serves as the go-to place for recording interviews.

Let us be completely honest – there have been situations where journalists applied for a Press Pass, got the free ticket, and then didn’t bother publishing anything about Game Access.

To prevent such situations in the future, we are instituting a 1+1 content minimum to qualify for a Press Pass. Here’s how it works:

  1. You apply for the Press Pass.
  2. We send you an email with our latest press release and media kit.
  3. You reply to our email with a link to a published piece of content about Game Access. It can be our press release, it can be your own writing, it can be a video, whatever suits you.
  4. Once we confirm what you published, we'll send you your Press Pass.
  5. To get accreditation for next year’s Game Access, we require you to publish 1 more piece of content. This can be a report from current year’s Game Access, but also another press release published beforehand; it’s up to you. Just make sure to notify us via email.

We apologize for the bureaucracy and hope you understand why we had to institute such a policy.
