Play as Karl Schreiber, a Viennese paralegal who’s being thrown into a completely new environment. Arriving in the little village called Moosbach, he needs to investigate a missing person’s case. By exploring the unique looking hand-crafted and photographed environments he uncovers a dark secret, which has its roots deep in the forest that surrounds the village. Karl talks to the Bavarian locals and discovers mythical creatures from Austrian and German folklore. Why are they here? What do they want? And what is the mysterious “Leitnnocht” the whole village is talking about?
