You are playing a Bard, trapped in a mega-dungeon corrupted by The Dissonance. The mega-dungeon consists of three mini-dungeons, each occupied by a corrupted artist: Saddened Painter, Miserable Writer, and a Pitiful Actor. As a Bard, you possess a special ability - magic - through which you breathe harmony into your surroundings, literally. With your loute, you are able to fight The Dissonance, slaughter enemies and spare the corrupted artists from their despair.
